Let’s have a review about the features of this new product – SIM808 GPRS+GSM+GPS Shield v1.0. It is a GSM and GPS two-in-one function module based on the latest GSM/GPS module SIM808 from SIMCOM, supporting GSM/GPRS Quad-Band network and combines GPS technology for satellite navigation.

It’s ultra-low power consumption in sleep mode and integrated with charging circuit for Li-Ion batteries to get it a super long standby time and convenient for projects. It has high GPS receive sensitivity with 22 tracking and 66 acquisition receiver channels. 

Besides, it also supports A-GPS that available for indoor localization and it’s controlled by AT command via UART and supports 3.3V and 5V logical level. And the SIM card can be a small card.

Crowduino Uno-SD V1.4 -- a microcontroller board that completely compatible with the Arduino UNO

The Crowduino Uno-SD mainboard is a microcontroller board that completely compatible with the Arduino UNO. It is based on the Atmega328P, which is widely also used in the Arduino Uno and other Arduino compatible boards. Compared to the previous Crowduino with Atmega328,the Uno SD mainboard uses the Atmega16U2, instead of the FTDI232 for the USB2UART conversation, which makes the program downloading much faster. Besides, there is a SD card slot on the Uno-SD board, making this board more convenient for applications such as data logging/ environment monitoring.  


Compared to the original Arduino Uno, the Crowduino Uno SD board has the following upgrades:
1.Reset button on the left side, which makes it more convenient to reset the system.
2.Updated power circuit. With the selector, uses can select the working voltage, 3.3V or 5V, which makes the Uno-SD board compatible with more sensors that uses the 3.3V logic level communication .
3.Uno-SD board uses the Mini USB connector, to avoid the potential risk of connecting to above shield.
4.On board SD card slot.

3. Super Mini NRF24L01+ Module

This module applies the newest 2.4ghz transceiver from Nordic Semiconductor, the nrf24l01+. It integrates a completed 2.4ghz RF transceiver, RF synthesizer, and baseband logic including the Enhanced shockburst™ hardware protocol accelerator supporting a high-speed SPI interface for the application controller.
